The subcontinent descends from the dramatic peaks of the Himalaya, down and across vast river plains, ending in broad stretches of glorious tropical beaches. The land is home to a vast array of people, faiths, and cultures. Going to India as a student is an extraordinary experience. Because of the uniqueness of the culture and the sometimes startling differences from their home environment, we request that students be mature and willing to embrace a demanding land and its people.
