Aerial View of Espiritu Salvaje
...a splendid spiritual center dedicated to personal transformation, spiritual expansion and well being

  • Hatha Yoga sessions, Asanas (body postures) in the Sampoorna tradition. Yoga sessions will be offered every morning.

  • Meditation - A combination of silent and guided meditation is offered to create the space for personal growth, spiritual awakening, and setting personal intentions for transformation.

  • An introduction and discussion on the Four Paths and the Eight Limbs of Yoga and how we can incorporate them into our daily lives to create union and balance between body, mind and spirit.

  • Chakra Session - Seven major chakras or energy centers are located within the subtle body. They are considered the focal points for the reception and transmission of energies. During this session you will become more familiar with these force centers and discover ways to use them to enhance your vitality and balance.

  • Dance movement session. Celebrating who we are and allowing our bodies to free flow within the space around us while experiencing the freedom from our often overly critical mind.

  • Ayurveda or the "science of life" deals with the chakras and the balance of three divine forces of Vata, Pitta and Kapha. Prior to our meal, the value of ayurveda in our life will be discussed and food preparation ideas will be presented.

  • Kirtan -  A call-and-response chanting often performed in India's devotional traditions. Kirtan practice involves chanting hymns or mantras to the accompaniment of instruments such as the harmonium or drums. This is a beautiful way to use one's voice to express devotion and love for oneself and the community around them

  • Sacred Pipe Circle - In this ceremony, various beings are invited to sit with us in circle. The sacred pipe is filled with gentle herbs (no tobacco or drugs) and is smoked by everyone in ceremony. Prayers, intentions and blessings are put into the pipe and when it is smoked, the prayers, blessings and intentions go out as smoke to be accepted and honored to all those who receive them…a very beautiful and powerful Native American ceremony.

  • The Four Agreements is a passage to Enlightenment and Freedom. During this session we use Miguel Ruiz's teachings to reveal the source of our self-limiting beliefs and using the ancient Toltec wisdom we begin to transform our lives to a new experience of freedom, true happiness and love.

  • Spiritual Support Circle - During this session we explore the base of our existence and celebrate the child within us. By going into meditation and using painting and drawing, we begin to create an energy around the child-essence within us.  We then invite various entities within our lives to begin to create a support circle around us. This circle is a valuable resource to remind us of our magnificence, regardless of what is going on in our lives.

  • Massage - You will partner up with someone of your choosing. If you are familiar with a massage technique,  you can use it to massage your partner. If you'd like some lessons in giving a massage, step by step massage techniques will be offered. After an hour, we will have the partners switch so everyone can receive the benefits of a massage.

  • Karma Yoga - The word Karma is derived from the Sanskrit Kri, meaning 'to do'. In its most basic sense karma simply means action, and yoga translates to union. Thus Karma yoga literally translates to the path of union through action. In Vedantic philosophy the word 'Karma' means both action and the effects of such action. Karma Yoga is described as a way of acting, thinking and willing by which one orients oneself toward realization by acting in accordance with one's dharma. The action we will engage in is supporting the center to be in its most enlightened state.

  • Sounding - Prior to joining the sounding you will find an object in nature that produces a sound. You will bring this object to the circle and through our sounds and voices we will give gratitude, ask for support and create intentions in our lives to bring forth wellness and happiness.
