The Vision of this Journey
Create a re-awakening and deepening of your personal Heart connection with yourself and the Earth, through the loving support of nature.
As Christina shares her deep love of the richness and beauty of this tropical paradise, allow the plants to guide you to your inner ecology.
Plant Connection
Plants offer their wisdom through their sentient nature, directly perceptible from the natural world by the human energy matrix within us. In that, each tree and plant holds its own unique “medicine”. Specific activities and ceremonies have been designed to assist each participant in learning how to smell, taste, and breathe that connection directly. Incredible personal insights and inspiration are available when we open our hearts to the rich and beautiful plant relationships that are possible for us. The gifts of remembering our own unique place in all this, is a treasure that may change the way we percieve our lives.Experience being intimately supported by the Earth, rooted in the deep rhythms of the plants, that are so willingly being offered to the human spirit.

Some of her thoughts..."As human consciousness expands, we hold ourselves as Earth citizens, not only personally but on a global level.Patterns of Being, held within the plant kingdom, are available for us to experience, not only in our own “gardens” but also in environments and relationships throughout the world.Humankind is being drawn more and more to explore other corners of the globe, other countries, other cultures, other environments, to engage with emerging patterns of consciousness, expanding for beyond our past or present experiences and relationships."
Each day is planned to assist you in immersing yourself more deeply into your own being through our tropical surroundings. Several plant walks are offered to allow you time for learning and connection to these inspiring life forms. We have the opportunity to be transformed by the land, the trees, the flowers, the animals and the sea.In a retreat-like pace, group as well as individual time will be available for meditation and journaling, ceremony, beach and jungle hikes, rainforest canopy tour, visits to orchid and butterfly gardens... all meant to strengthen and deepen our relationship with the Earth as a partner, teacher, sustainer, and dear friend. Conservation issues related to sustainability and the human footprint will also be unraveled and explored.

Horseback Riding and Waterfalls -
This morning you get to meet a local family who will guide you on a splendid horseback ride to some amazing waterfalls. The horseback ride is perfect for beginners and they also have spirited horses for the more advanced riders. You experience a variety of forest environments as you ride through this large “finca”. Halfway through the ride you arrive at the home of the owner where you are served a delicious home-cooked breakfast. After your meal you continue your ride and arrive at some incredible waterfalls. At the base of the falls is a refreshing lagoon in which to swim and an opportunity for the more daring to climb the falls and dive from the rock ledges. After ample time for swimming, playing and enjoying the spectacular views, ride back to the ranch house for an appetizing lunch. After a satisfying meal, ride back, returning to the eco-lodge.
Cano Island -
Thisis a day when you get to experience the bright, blue waters of the ocean next to OsaPeninsula. You will be taken by boat down the SierpeRiver through the largest mangrove forest in Costa Rica. You will see crocodiles, monkeys, and a variety of birds. You cross the mouth of the river where it empties into the deep blue Pacific, and you will head to CanoIsland, a sanctuary for dolphins and whales. In this remote area, there are spotted, spinner, bottlenose, rough-toothed and common dolphins, humpback whales, giant manta rays, sea turtles and much more. Depending on the conditions, you may get to see a variety of sea life in this marine playground. If interested, you may snorkel in these waters and experience the underwater beauty.
Flight of the Toucan -Flight of the Toucan -
This is another day full of fantastic adventures. You begin by visiting an 800 acre protected reserve with over 300 bird species, more than 50 types of animals, mangroves and marvelous primary and secondary rainforest. You have a unique opportunity to experience the rainforest from the perception of a bird. In the “Flight of the Toucan” you are harnessed and connected to a safety-inspected cable by an experienced guide and you gently glide, experiencing the canopy of the forest much like a toucan would, flying from tree to tree.
