Within us and all around us there is a life force that weaves its threads in magical and mystical patterns. This life force is a reminder of how all beings are intertwined and related. In making your power rattle in a sacred manner, you will call upon the powers that protect you, the ones that guide you and the forces that empower you. You may ask them to unite and bring their spirit and blessings to you and your new companion.

This power rattle workshop is a four-hour ceremony. In this journey you explore the birth of the gourd, which will become your rattle and you connect with its spirit. The elements that are a part of all beings are summoned and asked to sit in council with us.  You call upon your circle of beings and invite them to bring their spirit and energies to the beads, which will become their voices. You invoke the ancient ones and ask for guidance as you weave the beads and create a pattern of symmetry to create balance and power in your life. When the rattles are completed, we bless their birth and we give thanks to our Mother Earth for Her gifts.

Teacher:   Franco Marini is a native of Italy and grew up in a small village where many of his teachings came from Earth Spirits. He teaches about Earth relations and supports people in being in harmony with the Circle of Life.

By using a variety of lessons and teachings from several cultures, he brings forth the wisdom of the Ancient Ones who lived throughout the world. Currently he resides in New York and is the director of Global Journeys and Thunder Spirit, organizations dedicated to enriching and empowering individuals and their environment.
